I found an ad for The Narrows in the guest services book at my hotel and was immediately intrigued by their foraged and house-made syrups. Did. Not. Disappoint. I was in town for four days and popped in every evening for two dessert drinks, working my way down the menu. Lisa and Stuart were amazing and made me feel welcome, even when the bar filled up periodically. The drinks were top notch and complemented by fantastic playlists from chill and electronica to original classic country from the 1940s. I'll always find time to stop by when I'm in Juneau.

Hoped for a warm cocktail but settled for the most amazing Sidecar. The bar tender created a drink for my partner after asking what flavor profile she felt like. Oh my! Amazing

Amazing atmosphere in downtown Juneau! Shirley made me an amazing Old Fashioned with rye. Had a great conversation with the owner Jared. Perfect place to stop in, chat, and enjoy an amazing cocktail!

Love the cocktails, vibe, and the bartender. Visiting town between cruises, this popped up as a bar. Highly recommend, it’s small and cozy but with trendy industrial vibes. The cocktails were fabulous. Will come back!

The Narrows is exactly the kind of place you hope to find in a city like Juneau—tucked-away, relaxed, and genuinely focused on great drinks. The bartenders here are friendly, attentive, and seem to enjoy talking about what they’re pouring. On both of our visits, we tried something different and were glad we did—the Falkor and Rattlesnake were standouts, each with their own creative twist but balanced and never overdone. The space itself is cozy, with a bit of buzz but never overwhelming. Worth a stop if you care about cocktails or just want a welcoming spot to unwind.

Very excellent! The bartenders are professional and friendly. These are some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. Top notch ingredients and crafted with care. The space is welcoming too.

The cocktails that are created by the employees are fantastic! All of the drinks are made with fresh or homemade ingredients. Shirley made everything with love and was very knowledgeable about the cocktails. It’s been our favorite bar in Juneau but last nights experience was the best so far!

Claude sent me here. 10/10. Amazing drinks and surprisingly chill given this city just got invaded by 4 cruise ships. Came for a whiskey sour and it was great. But holy cow the flu shot was outstanding. Smoke, heat, citrus. Bartender was super cool and recommended rockfish tacos and halibut and chips across the street. We believed him since he crafted the flu shot. Another 10/10.
